Herrington Inn Bridal Shower: Allison

I realize I’ve stated this many times before buuuuut… I LURRVE my family! Love love love them! And I’m not just talking about my parents and my brothers. I’m talking aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. The whole shabang. For me, family reunions aren’t dreaded events where you eat pasta salad and sloppy joes and Aunt Jane pinches your cheek and tells you how big you’ve gotten. No no. Not even close. Fine family reunions are craziest, exciting, hilarious, and most highly anticipated events of the year! I’m not trying to be conceited, but we would make an amazing sitcom. Really. Everyone would watch it.  And love it. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my family.

So when my cousin Allison asked me if I’d be willing to take pictures of her bridal shower, I was so excited! Allie is the first Fine cousin to get married. This is a big deal. Haha. Her fiance Neil had to go through quite a few Fine initiations in order to be accepted into the family. I will say, though, that he passed with flying colors :)

I couldn’t be happier for you Allie! I know from the way that Neil looks at you just how much he loves you. And I can’t wait for you to be able to spend the rest of your life with the person who brightens your smile at just the mention of his name. You two were made for each other. Bring on February!!!!! xoxo

The beautiful table settings.

The shower was a Tea and Champagne Party

The beautiful bride-to-be!

They are sisters. Can you tell?

The woman who made it all happen… my Aunt Linda!

And then it was game time.

The competition was intense!

The awesome mother of the bride, Aunt Jeanette!

Allie’s bridesmaid gave a lovely toast.

The food…

Writing recipes for life and love :)

Time for presents!

Her flower girl loved to help unwrap! It was adorable.
