Main Street Documentary

One. Last. Final.

All I have is one more final and then I am completely done with my Fall 09 semester. It shouldn’t be that hard to study for one final, right? Oh, but it is. My motivation has been drained. My energy level is low. Basically, my tank is running on empty. It also doesn’t help that it’s the most difficult final- History of Photography. I’ve done almost everything but study, including watching several episodes of Gossip Girl. Yikes….. I confess, I’ve somehow gotten hooked. Let’s just say it’s my guilty pleasure. (Shhhh don’t tell anyone.) Dear Christmas break, please get here fast! Thanks. ‘Preciate it.

On a slightly lighter note, Friday I turned in my final Documentary Project!! It was such an amazing feeling. The countless hours spent in the darkroom developing were totally worth it. And now, I’m proud to share my project with you :) I documented Main Street in Park City. Although this is probably not new to most of you, no one in my class has ever been to Utah that I know of, so I enjoyed giving them a little taste of my home, and sharing a little piece of my heart. Enjoy!

Shots were taken with 35mm TMAX 400 film. (Again, please forgive the quality. Scanners. Psssh.)

These pictures look great. I want to visit your home now. I love seeing the mountains behind the buildings. Kinda makes me discontent with Indiana’s flatness. Wonderful job.
