I’m just going to jump right into it today.
Fact #1: Nota is by far the best group on Sing Off. If they lose, it’s going to be a big fluke.
Fact #2: Southwest Airlines is the bomb. They let you have two bags for free. Again, the bomb.
Fact #3: Put some Sprite in your Christmas tree. It will live longer.
Fact #4: 3M Tape is better than than all the other tapes out there. Combined.
Fact #5: Footie pajamas may be the most underrated type of clothing in the world today. (Why yes, I am wearing some right now, actually.) Put them on and you’ll never want to take them off.
Fact #6: Utah photographers are the best, always so helpful and willing to give advice.
Which leads me to the pictures for today’s post. I went on my first ever Utah Photowalk last night, and it was such a blast. There is a short mini-clinic based on the theme of the Photowalk, and then the group goes out and shoots. Last night’s theme was low-light situations. So, fittingly, after the clinic everyone headed over to the Salt Lake Temple to shoot some of the lights and decorations they set up during the winter. It was extremely beautiful. It was almost overwhelming, but in a good way. Here are a few of my favorites from the night.
P.S. Sorry this is slightly late!!! Today was crazy busy. So I apologize. I mean I know all of you were sitting there waiting for this before you went to bed… right? ;)

Love the CREATIVITY in your pictures Carissa. I have yet to get a lantern shot that I really like … and you go out and get several good ones on your very first time out there. The bubbles on the reflective pond look cool. And I love that skinny little tree with lights on it and the pattern of the windows in the temple as the background. So cool.

By the way, if you have a Flickr account, this is where the Photowalking Utah folks post their images for sharing with other members. And even if you don’t have an account, you can at least see what other people were shooting that night.
