Perks of Being a Student

I’ve officially had all of my classes now. Fortunately, I think I’ll enjoy all of them. Unfortunately, most of them are extremely difficult and not recommended to be taken at the same time. Woe is me.

Alright. Enough with the self pity. It’s time to look at the bright side. Being a college student does come with it’s fair share of perks. For instance, spring and summer break. Unless you’re a teacher, there’s no such thing as a break in the real world. Work goes all year round. There’s also the student discounts. Getting into local sporting events for free, student loans, Walmart gift cards from kind souls who still think that college kids live off ramen noodles… And I mean, who doesn’t love getting computer programs and other technological goodies at about half the price? Of course we can’t be forgetting one last thing, the FOOD! (If you haven’t been able to figure it out from all my previous posts, a lot of which mention food, I love food! However, this can be a problem when you’re trying to look good in a wedding dress. Ugh.)

Tonight my suitemate Kelsi and I went out to eat at Moe’s Southwest Grill. Now, it’s no Chipotle, but it’s not a bad substitute when you’re in Marion and the closest Chipotle is, well, far away. Especially on Thursdays, when they have 5$ meals for students!! In other words, a nice big burrito, chips and salsa, and a drink, all for 5  bucks!!! That’s my kind of meal. My dad would be proud :) You know this burrito totally looks delish. I know the perfect combo of ingredients for the perfect burrito. I would tell you but then I’d have to kill you. (Or if you’re really curious just leave a comment and ask. Ha.) It’s almost the weekend! Hang in there :)
