I tried something different with my bangs today. I always straighten them since my hair is curly. Really curly. I mean like, out-of-control-always-frizzy-impossible-to-manage curly. Just call me Simba. Because I have a mane. Anyways, I tried something different. I decided to put some mousse in them and let them go, to stop fighting the curl and embrace it.

Well, that was a mistake. It looked like a cross between Alfalfa from the Little Rascals and the result of sticking my finger in an electric socket. Moral of story = straighten bangs.

Alright enough of my random story of the day. Now to actual story of the day. I have a confession to make. I figure if I go public with this maybe it will keep me more accountable… lol. You see, I’m kinda trying to lose weight. Don’t worry, nothing drastic. I just want to look good for my wedding, ya know? So I’ve been really good about hitting the gym. (Sometimes it pays to be competitive.) My diet, on the other hand, has been a bit trickier. Food and I have a love-hate relationship. Ok, that’s not true. Who am I kidding?  It’s all love.

So when my Mom sent me a package that included some bags of butter popcorn claiming to be 94% fat free, it was like finding a massive pot of gold at the end of a Skittle’s rainbow. Now, I don’t really understand how the salty, buttery and fluffy goodness of popcorn could 94% fat free, but I’m not going to argue! I’m going to pretend that it is a perfectly acceptable treat to satisfy my snack attacks during late night study and homework sessions. And I’ll enjoy every minute of it. So thank you Mom, for sending me such a great package! And thank you Act II, for providing me with a guilt-free snack  for my last college nights…

Oh and one more thing, I’ll be skipping tomorrow’s Fun Facts. I guess I just don’t want my blog to be overrun by my Fun Facts. But don’t worry, they’ll be back next Friday!
