Before I say anything else, I have to give a shout out to Eric O’Connor, an amazing wedding photographer for Allori Photography, located in Illinois. Not only is he incredible at what he does, he is also extremely knowledgeable and totally willing to offer advice and give help to beginning photographers. He’s just an all around good guy!! So yeah, you should all check him out :)
I’ll keep this post short and sweet, because I am extremely busy the next few days, trying to get presentations and papers finished before I head to Chicago for the weekend! I just wanted to share a few pictures I’ve taken with my newly inherited Composer, which I am SOO pumped about!! Now, don’t get too excited. I mean, these pictures are nothing to jump out of your seat about, considering a) it was FREEZING when I went outside to experiment b) the campus does not have that many interesting photo ops. But don’t worry, I’m planning on playing with it all weekend, so I’ll have some more exciting pictures next time. For now, these will have to do! Until next week…
I started off in my room. I couldn’t even wait till I got outside I was so excited lol.

My fish Pumpkin. He’s so fat. (Yeah, that bulge is not lens distortion.)

Then I made it down to the living room. We have this awesome tree thing that was too good to pass up without a picture.

I love lamp.

Finally I headed out into the freezing cold. Don’t be fooled by the blue skies. FUHreezing out.

I call this one “Through the Chain-Linked Fence”

Seemed appropriate to end with this one.

Happy Hump Day!!!!

I like what the lensbaby does. I have never been able to justify in my own mind buying one because every time I get close I always come back to the argument that “if I really want that look, I can just do it in Photoshop for free” and then I put the credit card away. Of course, I never get around to actually doing it in Photoshop either.
So after the newness wears off, I’d be interested in hearing how much you use it.
I love these pictures! Did you use the lensbaby on your regular camera? In other words is that the only difference or did you use something else as well?
I love the lensbaby. It is great way to find creativity in everyday things. Yeah people always say I can create in in photoshop, but with the lens right there you see it in real time and get that shot. It is going to be really hard to duplicate the effect.
Great job on your photos.
@arjelia thanks! yep it’s nothing special i just had the composer on my 40D for all these pictures.
I love reading and I am always searching for informative information like this! You are bookmarked!
