Downtown Marion Anytime: Brittney Holmberg

It had been too long. Actually, waaaay too long. I needed to get out of the lull, out of the cycle of nothing but homework assignments and obligatory projects. I needed to do something for myself. I needed to shoot just for fun. Because really, that’s what it’s all about, right? Doing what you do because you love it, you have a passion for it. If that love and that passion start to die away, then something’s wrong. And that’s when I called Brittney.

Brittney is an amazing girl, full of life and bubbling over with laughter so contagious she could make Scrooge break a smile. I love this girl and I was so pumped when she gladly accepted to spend some time in front of my camera. It was short but sweet, and totally made me refreshed to push through this last 5 weeks of school. (Well, for the most part anyway. I still have a severe case of senioritis going on.) Hopefully you’ll enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed this shoot, because it was a blast! Thank you again, Britt, you’ll always be my favorite model ;)

I’ll start with these two. Even though Brittney might hate me, I think they sum up the shoot pretty well haha. Everyone, meet Brittney!

Yeah, she knows how to work it.

This bridge never looked so good.

Helloooooo America’s Next Top Model!

And then I said something funny. Haha.

Those eyes. Shut. Up.

Who doesn’t love a random purple brick wall?

These next pictures make me smile.

Ok, these next two? Might be my favorite. Lurrrrve.

She was a good sport because she definitely got honked at a few times while on this bench. Ohh Marion…

I loved the feel of this building.

Apparently I’m funny :)

I’ll end with these three, because I couldn’t pick just one.

Thanks again Britt!! Love you lady :)

P.S. This is the last time I’ll say anything, I promise, but everyone should come to the show opening on Monday! I’ll be in the Banquet Hallway with 4 other amazing seniors, and the rest will be in the 1920′s Gallery and Beard Arts Center. Stop by if you get a chance! 4-6pm. Ok, that’s all :)
