Today, for the first time in almost 4 years, I saw light. Light at the end of that long, winding, seemingly never-ending tunnel. I only have TWO MORE FRIDAYS EVER as a college student! Talk about a total mind blow. While I still have more to do than I would ever hope for, I can actually feel the end coming. I can smell it. And it smells good. Real good….
1. If you feel like some buffalo wings, don’t get them from Wendy’s. All they do is slather some BBQ sauce on chicken nuggets. Pretty disappointing.
2. Red Bull does not actually give you wings.
3. Ryan Cabrera, yeah, the old school first album, is awesome road trip music.
4. Another mind blower. From now on, everyone should eat their kiwis with the skin. Yep. Just keep that fuzzy skin right on there. It’s actually much healthier, and if you simply wet it down a little, it’s like eating an apple. That tastes like a kiwi. Awesome.
5. You know your pasta is hot if your glasses fog up when lean in to take a bite.
6. Comic Sans officially needs to be destroyed.
7. Techno music should never be played in a coffee shop. Especially in the morning. I mean, they might as well just hang a big sign out that says “If our coffee doesn’t wake you up, our music will!” Come on people.
8. Eating a baked potato for lunch and then running several hours later will make your legs feel like lead.
9. I now have a formspring account! Meaning, if you’ve ever had a question for me, now is the time to ask! You can sign up for your own account, or just ask me anonymously. I’m an open book :) It doesn’t even have to be photography related! (Just keep it clean everyone. Keep it clean.)
10. Chewing gum with your mouth open makes you burp.
11. If you’re a Marion local, you should DEFINITELY head out to the awesome Break the Chains event going on tomorrow!!! There is a FREE, family-friendly day event from 2pm-5pm , including live music, art, and even some BMX riders! This will be followed by an evening event of coffees and desserts, some amazing speakers, and even more art and music, all for $5. Check it out. Help the helpless.
12. Yankee’s Clean Cotten Gel Car Refresher is THE only way to go.
13. Speaking of smells, (and unlike that light at the end of the tunnel), not all flowers smell good.
Specifically, these flowers.
Actually, it’s safe to say that they smell bad. Really bad. Don’t be fooled by their innocent appearance.
And they are all over campus. Every spring they come out, infesting the air with rottenness. (That is a word, I didn’t just make it up).
What do they smell like, you might wonder? Two words: FISH POOP. Not even joking.
I know, I know, you’d never guess, right?
Don’t believe me? Well, I can’t really prove it. Because pictures don’t come with smells. But they do stink. Scout’s honor.
At least they are pretty to look at. I’ll just go back to sniffing that light at the end of the tunnel…

You’re NEVER going to believe this. I was walking to the student center tonight and I told Korbin “That bad smell is those flowery trees. Smells like…fish and poop. Fish poop.” hahahahahaha it DOES!!!!
Those SAME trees are in Kentucky at Morehead State.. I loathe them
oh my word i do not miss the smell of those…ill tell you what i think they smell like in person when i am at iwu in 2 short weeks. i also would like to take credit for your new found love of clean cotton air fresheners. get your butt back to PC. i enjoy your friday posts.
