When I found out I was going to spend Easter break with Carl in Chicago, I was already excited. I love getting to spend time with him! If I’ve said it before, I’ve said it a thousand times.. I absolutely l o v e my family :) But then I found out that he was going to have not just one, but two home games that I would get to watch. Ummm… total SCORE!! (Pun might have been intended.) Basketball is kind of a big deal to the Fines. My dad played, my brothers and I all played through high school, Carl and Caleb went on to play in college, and now Carl is on the IBL team the Kankakee County Soldiers. Living so far away, I don’t get to see many of his games. So getting to see TWO in one weekend, well, let’s just say it was a big deal for me.
And of course, I couldn’t go to the games without bringing the extension to my arm, also known as my camera. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the two games. (Which, by the way, we won both. Yeah, they be ballin’!!) GO SOLDIERS!!
