I wasn’t sure what to call this post. I couldn’t exactly label it as a wedding, because Sarah and Jacob aren’t married. And it’s not really an engagement, because they’re not engaged either. Yet it can’t really be called an anytime session, considering they’re decked out in wedding attire (per my request, just to clarify). So I started to think about what this shoot was. On the outside, it was simply a sweet friend of mine and her boyfriend who were willing to model for me. But, looking deeper, it was more than that. It was an undeniably happy couple. It was a lovely girl in a beautiful gown. It was a marvelous setting with gorgeous light. It was pure romance. Mix those things together in front of my camera and I’m happier than a clam. Seriously, I get into this giddy, comatose state where I start squealing after every picture because I’m so excited. Just ask these two.
So, in light of all of this, there seemed to be only one title appropriate for this post. I had to call it like it is. My guilty pleasure. (And on second thought, maybe you shouldn’t ask them about my squealing…)

Sarah and Jacob, thank you sooo much for being such great sports! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better, and I hope you had at least half as much fun as I did :) You two are wonderful. Don’t stop being wonderful.

Awesome shoot. My favorite part? That the fact that they’re modeling for you is just a minor detail compared to the fact that they’re in love. Those are the best pictures– when you capture something real. Great work!
