Well, you’d think that, being home from school, I’d have tons of time and lots of things to blog. Obviously, from my lack of posts, this is not the case. I’ve discovered that, while at school, I was just coming up with ideas for my wedding and mom was doing the dirty work and making them happen. (Thank you Mom!!!) Now that I’m home, it’s my turn to do the dirty work. Or help, at least. Planning a wedding is like an 80 hour a week job. No joke. I mean, it’s fun and stressful and makes you happy and makes you frustrated and it only happens once, so I’m living it up as much as I can. But I do hope that life will slow down a bit after all the wedding-planning madness.
Oh yeah, one OTHER thing that has been swallowing my time and attention whole. MY BABIES!!!! That’s right, everyone. I’m a mom!! (Jake definitely just threw up in his mouth watching me type that. He’s embarrassed.) Anyways. We got two love-able furballs of joy exactly 5 days ago. Even though they require tons of attention and they pee in the house and they bite everything they can fit in their mouth, it is so worth it. I love them to bits. Last Sunday they turned 7 weeks old. And because I’m obsessed with the adorableness and I’m camera happy, I’ve decided to take their pictures every Sunday to capture their growth. Lucky for you, I’ll be blogging these pictures. You know, because I like to brag about their melt-in-your-mouth cuteness. So, without further ado, meet my babies.
My baby girl, Akiva. (According to puppy-names.com, this means “Protect” in Hebrew. So great, right?)

And my baby boy, Zuka. (Ok, this just means “Hill.” But it sounds cool!)

It’s amazing how much their personalities shine through, even at 7 weeks old. Zuka is my sweet boy who likes to make people happy, and Akiva is my mischievous little adventurer, who does what she wants, because she can. After all, she is just a puppy. (That won’t fly when she’s older.)

They play, play, play, until they get tired. Then they crash. And it is so darling.

So precious, right? :)
