Elwood Forest Anytime: Lindsey Wachter

It had been rainy the last several days. And, being humid Indiana, that meant that it was still soggy in a lot of places. Particularly any foresty-type area that would retain mud and water easily. Which is exactly the area I had in mind for this shoot. So when I called Lindsey up to warn her that it might be muddy, I told her I would understand if she didn’t want to do it. After all, not many people would want to spend an evening posing for a camera in a swamp. But Lindsey? Yeah, she was game.

Lindsey is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, inside and out. She has a zest for life and photography that is inspiring. I had the privilege of going to school with her and enjoying her company in many a photo class. Let me tell you, she is just as talented as she is beautiful. Seriously, check out her website. As you can see from that, she’s awesome. And, as you can see from these pictures below, she’s also quite the model :)

I started out with my holga.

I just loved how the water and trees look through a holga.

Lurve this one.

Fierce.

And then of course, I had to take some digital shots as well.

I adored her skirt.

One word: GORGEOUS.

The light was amazing.

This is the goop that she had to stand in. Needless to say, our shoes got a bit dirty. Ha.

Lindsey, you’re such a doll.

I saved my favorite for last :)

Thank you so much Linds!!! You were amazing and I miss your and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you life :)
